This is important, especially if you were a prior user before the site crash.
You need to clear all "Cookies" (Not History). Old "Cookies" from the prior system will result in a 'crashing' errors.  Please see the link for how to clear your HISTORY based on your browser.

I had an instructor in my Fire Officer One Class who taught us not to type anything in anger and in most cases it is better to wait a day or two before corresponding your feelings, which brings me to this point. - Thanks Don

I think it is obvious to all of you that our former webhost suffered a serious malfunction. This malfunction caused a large loss of data and information from the server. In anticipation of something like this happening I actually paid extra money for daily backups and restore services. It was my impressions that this extra protection would be adequate, obviously it was not. For some reason one of the tech's either did not set it up properly or the backup was also corrupted and failed.

To say that I am extremely unhappy at the loss of 7 years of data would be a polite understatement!!!!

1st. I would like to thank kmac for his many hours of time and effort in trying to make this right and helping at getting us back on our feet.
2nd I would like to thank the many members who have contacted myself and kmac offering your assistance in any way possible to fix the problem.
3rd Where do we go from here?
A. Needless to say terminating our relationship with the host in question is a no brainer. I have done so knowing that I just re-signed with them and paid for three years of hosting back in January.
B. We have found a new webhost, who we believe will provide a greater level of services and has a better reputation in providing a higher level of tech support and expertise in our field of forum hosting.
C. Continue to explore the possibilities of returning as much of the old data and information as possible. Honestly, it does not look good.
D. Add extra levels of security, backups and protection.
E. WE MOVE ON- We do what all FF's and EMS providers do. We realize that we did not cause this problem, but it is our responsibility to mitigate the problem, and look to the future and move forward.
F. I would like to thank you all for your patience as we attempt to restore the Forums back to what they were over the past seven years.

You have my sincere apologies for what has happen and for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I will make every effort to ensure that it will not happen again.
